ABHYUDAY - NHPC Business Simulation Games – A Competition of Business Strategy and Management Skills
ABHYUDAY – NHPC Business Simulation Games will be a Management Development program organized for employees and staff members of NHPC Limited, all across the country. The objective of the program shall be to enhance managerial ability, develop cross-functional understanding and improve business productivity among staff members at NHPC.
To participate in the challenge, staff members will be invited to form a team of 3 members and register. In a multi – round competition format, performance of teams will be assessed under complex business scenarios and in a competitive environment. Through the competition, best 4 Teams from the company shall be nominated for participation in GMC India National Finals and finally the winner of National Finals will be nominated for participation in GMC World Finals and represent India.

Business Simulation Games are one of such action learning mechanism which highly focus on replicating various aspects of business operations and management. These activities allow participant employees through different dummy exercises to experience the challenges and decision-making processes involved in running a business.
NHPC has been striving hard to keep its employees abreast with latest knowledge and skills for optimum productivity and in that pursuit Business Simulation Mechanism is being introduced as a new learning intervention. I am sure this AI based global application shall prove to be a milestone for preparing our Human capital future ready, maintaining equilibrium with diversifying business folio of NHPC and for developing cross functional insights to meet upcoming challenges.

- Each Team must consist of 3 members with 1 member each from
- Engineering / IT
- HR / PR / Law
- Finance
- It is advisable that employees form the team as per the defined composition as mentioned above, however the same is not binding upon.
- It is advised that teams be formed on proximity basis for better accomplishment of the simulation exercises.
- Each Team must nominate, 1 member among themselves as Team Captain. By default, the organizers will consider Team Member 1 as Team Captain.
- A particpant can only be associated with 1 Team. Registrations with common participants shall not be accpeted.
- Once the Registration is complete, the members within the team cannot be changed.
ABHYUDAY - NHPC Business Simulation Games 2024 will consist of 3 Rounds followed by National Finals.
