Highlights of 2023-24 edition
The 2023-24 edition of Global Management Challenge in India was participated by more than 1000 Student Teams and 260 Corporate Teams, making it the biggest business simulation event in the country
+ 5000 Participants
The 2023-24 edition of GMC in India with more than 5000 participants made it the biggest competition of GMC in India thus far. A total of 1284 Teams with 1924 Student Teams and 260 Corporate Teams registered for participation in the competition.
+ 60 Organizations
The competition was participated by more than 60 companies and Institutes, from various sectors, from all across the country. NTPC Limited led the competition with most no. of nominations to National Finals.
+ 150 Days
Due to the large scope of the competition with more than 5000 Participants, the competition spanned over a period of 6 months. Multiple Rounds were organized to identify the best Teams for the National Finals.

Students from JBIMS, Mumbai win Global Management Challenge India (2023-24 edition)
A team made up of management students from JBIMS – Aniruddha Shirsat, Sahil Mohite, Sanket Shedolkar and Chirag Chaudhari won the national final of the 2023 edition of the Global Management Challenge India, which took place in April’ 2024. They will represent the country in the international final that will take place in September, in New Delhi, India.
In the 4 years of Global Management Challenge in India, it is the first time a student team has won the competition. The 2nd and 3rd place was bagged my company executives from NTPC Limited. Team from IIM Lucknow, NMIMS Mumbai and GIM Panaji, also finished in Top 8.
The four cadres of the Indian team are now focused on preparing for the international final, an event where they are repeaters and hope to achieve a better performance, since in the last international final, held in Luanda, Angola, they were in sixth place.

AIOE to host GMC – World’s Largest Strategy & Management Competition in India
This year’s GMC International Finals will take place in New Delhi, India from 26-28 September, 2024. The event will be organized by AIOE – All India Organization of Employers (an allied body of FICCI) in association with the GMC International Organizing Committee. During this 3-day event one of the participating countries will be crowned as World Champion.
