The event takes place from September 25th to 27th and will bring together the winners of the 2022 edition of the Global Management Challenge.
The city of Luanda, capital of Angola, will host the international final of the 2022 edition of the Global Management Challenge from September 25th to 27th, which will be contested by the winners of the countries where this competition takes place. The host country will be represented by a team of information systems students, who will fight to keep the title at home.
“This event will be held for the first time in Africa, and Luanda is the big stage where everything will happen”, explains João Pereira, from the organization of the competition in Angola. He adds that the three university students who won the 2022 edition will represent the country in an event that will last three days. “There will be intense competition, but also a fun component in which we will showcase Angola, a safe destination and strategic partner for attracting business and global partnerships”, he highlights. It recommends that countries that will arrive on the African continent and whose number has not yet been finalized visit “the island of Luanda and its beaches, the Fort of S. Miguel and the Currency Museum”. This is in addition to being able to explore the city itself.
For João Pereira, “the Global Management Challenge is the largest and most important global strategy and management competition that Soik Investments has represented and organized in Angola since 2007. It is a demanding challenge”. Among the main benefits for those who participate in it are the “development of strategic management, decision making, teamwork and leadership”.
Participants also gain “a view of the decisive factors for business success and knowledge of the different areas of a company and their interactions”, he concludes.
