Student Team from JBIMS, Mumbai win GMC India – 2023 edition

Global Management Challenge is an innovative way to develop the knowledge and skills of our employees It is also an opportunity to discover management potential among young talents.

This year’s GMC International Finals will take place in New Delhi, India from 26-28 September, 2024. The event will be organized by AIOE – All India Organization of Employers (an allied body of FICCI) in association with the GMC International Organizing Committee. During this 3-day event one of the participating countries will be crowned as World Champion.

During the hard fought National Finals with 8 Student Teams and 9 Corporate Teams, the team was able to outperform and secure the 1st position. The team was followed by management teams from NTPC Limited at both 2nd and 3rd position. Based on their qualification, the team shall now go on to represent Team India at GMC International Finals 2023, to be held in New Delhi, India from 26-28 September, 2024.

The final standing (top 8) for GMC India – 2023 edition was as follows:

  • 1st Place – JBIMS, Mumbai (Student Team)
  • 2nd Place – NTPC Limited (Corporate Team)
  • 3rd Place – NTPC Limited (Corporate Team)
  • 4th Place – NTPC Limited (Corporate Team)
  • 5th Place – NTPC Limited (Corporate Team)
  • 6th Place – GIM Panaji, Goa (Student Team)
  • 7th Place – NMIMS, Mumbai (Student Team)
  • 8th Place – IIM Lucknow (Student Team)
