Global Management Challenge is an innovative way to develop the knowledge and skills of our employees It is also an opportunity to discover management potential among young talents.
POWERGRID is conducting Business Simulation Games with an objective to enhance cross-functional learning and managerial ability among employees. Online nominations are invited from the willing employees to participate in the Inter-POWERGRID Business Simulation Games 2024.
Each team shall comprise of 3 – 4 participants, as per mutual consideration and compete for the POWERGRID Championship. The Teams shall compete over a 5-Round Business Simulation challenge designed to enhance managerial capacity and test everyone’s skills and knowledge to best limit.
This year, Business Simulation Games is being organized in association with Global Management Challenge (GMC) – the world’s largest strategy and management platform. The simulation exercise will focus on special emphasis on Strategy formation, Scenario analysis, cross-functional coordination and forming consensus to make commercial and strategic decisions on Finance, Marketing, HR, Production / Operations etc.
According to Shri Bipin Kishor Mundu, CGM (HRD) – these simulations are not merely games but invaluable platforms where we can test our decision-making skills in a risk-free environment, explore innovative strategies, and enhance our teamwork. By participating, we strengthen our ability to navigate complex business scenarios and foster a deeper understanding of the dynamics influencing our industry.
Top 8 Teams from the competition will be nominated to represent POWERGRID at GMC India National Finals – 2024.
