Global Management Challenge is an innovative way to develop the knowledge and skills of our employees It is also an opportunity to discover management potential among young talents.
NTPC Global Management Challenge will be a Management Development program organized for employees and staff members of NTPC Limited, all across the country. The objective of the program shall be to enhance managerial ability, develop cross-functional understanding and improve business productivity among staff members at NTPC.
Best 8 Teams from the NTPC Global Management Challenge will be nominated for participation in the flagship event of GMC India – National Finals 2023, scheduled in April’ 2024.
The Competition is open to Participation for all staff members from NTPC Limited, organized in a Team of 4 members.

General Guidelines for Team Registration:
- All Team Registrations, will be accepted through competition website, and must be completed within the timeframe provided (i.e. 20 – 30 September’ 2023).
- All Team members within a Team must be from same office location, and one member can be part of only 1 Team. If 1 Participant is found to be a part of multiple teams, then all such Teams Registration shall be cancelled.
- Each Team must nominate 1 Team member as it’s Team Captain. All communication with regard to the competition shall be made with only Team Captain.
The Competition will consist of 5 Rounds of Business Simulation, based on which Top 8 Teams will qualify for GMC India – National Finals 2023. The winner of GMC India – National Finals will go on to represent Team India at GMC International Finals and compete for World Title.
Global Management Challenge is the world’s largest strategy and management competition based on a highly advance Business Simulation, that is accredited by European Foundation for Management Development with EOCCS recognition. Each year more than 30000 students, managers, executives from more than 30 countries worldwide take part in the competition, making it the biggest global event based on Business Simulation.
