We annually promote Student Championship as a competition of strategy and management based on the application of Global Management Challenge Business Simulation.
The Competition is open to participation for students (MBA/PGDM) of premier Management Institutes in India (based on NIRF Rankings – 2024), organized in a team of 4 members. Best Team from the competition will be nominated for participation in GMC International Finals to represent Team India and compete for World Title.
Why Participate?
It goes beyond traditional programs by providing the participants complete control over a virtual company operating in a competitive environment.
It offer’s students “Diploma in Management” on the basis of it’s EFMD – EOCCS recognition. GMC is the only Business Simulation program in the world with this certification.
Global Management Challenge is the world’s largest strategy and management competition – an unique platform to develop your personal Resume.
The layout of the competition provides an excellent opportunity for students to showcase themselves as the best candidate to potential employers, as the Simulation helps students to better learn about business and how it works in real life.
Form a Team of 4 Members
MBA / PGDM students (both 1st and 2nd Year) from premier Management Institutes of India, as per NIRF Rankings – 2024 are invited for participation in GMC India – Student Championship 2024. Each Team mu
- Each Team must nominate, 1 member among themselves as Team Captain. By default, the organizers will consider Team Member 1 as Team Captain.
- A participant can only be associated with 1 Team. Registrations with common participants shall not be accepted
- Once the Registration is complete, the members within the team cannot be changed.

Student Championship consists of 4 Rounds followed by National Finals.
Students Teams will compete against each other in a multi-round format, with the best teams progressing to the next rounds. The 1st Round of the Competition is called Qualification Round (Participation is Free) which allows students to get friendly with the platform, without any impact on their performance in the competition.

4096 students register for participation in GMC India – Student Championship 2023 edition
This was the 4th edition of annual GMC – Student Championship in India, with a rise in total team registrations from 920 Teams in 2022 to 1024 Teams in 2023. Based, on the final results, students from JBIMS, Mumbai won the 2023 edition and represented India at GMC International Finals – New Delhi (26-28 September, 2024).
The Team secured 2nd position at the competition. The 1st place was secured by Team from China.

Registration Charges
Registration in Global Management Challenge is FREE for all student Teams. Only the Teams that qualify for Round 1 of competition must pay a basic competition fee of Rs. 8000 /- per Team for issue of “Diploma in Management” and further participation in the competition.
