A felicitation ceremony was organized at the Secretariat of Director In-charge of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP). In this function, Director In-charge (Bokaro Steel Plant & RSP) Amarendu Prakash congratulated Prakash Chandra Sahu and Bikrant Kumar Patel, both Managers of Finance and Accounts Department and Vishwajeet Jena, Manager of Instrumentation Department. Honored for winning the third prize in the Management Challenge (GMC) International Finals. On this occasion, Executive Director AK Kundu, AK Pradhan, PK Satpathy, Chief General Manager-in-Charge CR Mohapatra, Praveen Nigam, CMO Dr. BK Hota and other senior officers of the plant were present.
On this occasion Director-in-charge Amarendu Prakash congratulated the team and encouraged them to contribute their expertise towards the growth and profitability of the plant. Notably, a total of 23 countries from around the world participated in the world’s largest strategy and management competition. Portugal secured the first position in the event while China secured the second position.
The team was nominated to participate in the prestigious global event after winning the GMC India-2020 edition held in November, 2020. The RSP team also has the honor of winning the prestigious Asian Management Games to be held in July, 2021 for the second consecutive year. Organized online by MMA (Macau Management Association) and All India Management Association (AIMA). Apart from this, the renowned team had also won the Director (Personnel) Cup for the year 2019-20.
